When you post a message, you will note that the time stamp appears to be five hours earlier than it should be.
Because the computer on which the Old Scarborians web site resides does not have the necessary software to support a Discussion Form Archives (2000-2001), the Discussion Form Archives (2000-2001) pages reside on the WFP Consulting web site (wfpconsulting.com), which is located in Vienna, VA (USA). The time shown is, thus, U.S. Eastern Standard Time. The "-500" beside the time indicates that it is five hours less than UTC (Coordinated Universal Time -- which has replaced Greenwich Mean Time as the standard reference). When the U.S. switches to Daylight Saving Time, the displacement, relative to UTC, will show as "-0400."
If you find this confusing, don't worry about it. If you find it informative, consider yourself informed.
